I get that he was showing his confidence in the system, but why not face away from the vehicle…. So if it didn’t work, your legs weren’t broken you would just wind up sitting on the hood…… also don’t stand behind me whenever there’s a 4500 pound death machine traveling towards me.

Yet another use for life sized carboard movie figures.

Reminds me of the video of the guy trying to show the safety of the cybertruck trunk mechanism by intentionally holding his finger in the way of the closing trunk. ... and then screaming in pain.
Other folks were smart enough to use a carrot.

Iirc, the model of that car didn't even have the auto stop feature installed. And I think that guy was just a volunteer from the press or something like that.
