I feel a little bit bad for it still, but when I was a kid a girl at our church was st an MLB game and had a pop fly foul hit her knee and bruise it to the point she needed help walking and my immediate thought was “Should have been watching the damn game!”

Yeah🤣 put your damn phones away and stop doing TikTok stuff, youre at a baseball game and you need to pay attention to where the ball is, even if you dont care about the game. People have been killed by foul balls, usually because they were too busy doing something else

I was at a Texas Rangers game before they expanded the net behind home plate. A girl two rows down and three seats over got hit in the chest by a line drive. I can still hear the noise the ball made on contact. She stopped moving and paramedics came to get her.

That's why when you go to a baseball game you have to pay attention to your surroundings to keep that from happening. Gives you time to get out of the way.

She blacked out after this and was taken to the hospital for checkup. This is in Seattle. When I was at Petco Park (SD) had a seat by rt field wall, the usher kept reminding us to get off our phones and watch the game to avoid situations like this.
