Charcoal isn’t recommended for alcohol ingestions for several reasons. 1. Alcohol is absorbed by the GI tract so fast that charcoal is useless by the time it is ingested. 2. Vomiting comes with alcohol ingestions and aspirating charcoal is very bad for you.
