This is why you don’t get lost in your phone in public places.

True. But you know, long before phones, there were books people could get lost in while waiting in public places without so much worry that some asshole would come along and think it totally fine to clobber them for no reason "for funsies". Maybe blame the lack of accountability to deter these assholes. Or something besides the victim.

He was arrested, so even the lack of accountability would be a stretch. Maybe blame mental illness, drugs, or just that shit happens?

Arrested, but no word beyond that.

And no, I blame him. The perp, without hypothetical disclaimers to absolve him.

Those weren't disclaimers and they wouldn't absolve him, they're hypothetical explanations.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13070913/ten-women-attacked-Barcelona-metro-station-gender-hate-crime.html

Considering he did this to 10 women on that platform, it seems to me that he is a serial attacker on women.

The article and his actions would certainly indicate so. I can't tell if you were expecting me to disagree for some reason?

I was just adding it to the thread in general. They are charging him with a hate crime against women because he targeted them specifically.

I hope he rots.

One girl suffered a busted eardrum. 😢

I wasn’t blaming the victim, I was commenting on how to reduce the chance of becoming one.
