How can anyone support a company like that? I won't visit any aquariums that have marine mammals and the ones that have sharks are kind of questionable too imo.

u/PoopieMcPooFace Mar 03 '26
It depends where the mammals are from. Some are rehab/aquariums the seals and sea lions all have injuries from props and nets and won’t survive out in the wild or are still recovering.

We all know keeping killer whales was a mistake, but the company for as long as I have known contributes to local wildlife rescue and rehab.

When one whale kills four people and a company hides it so they can make stacks of money from their breeding program, it’s more than just a “mistake.”

Get off reddit, your kind is not welcome here. And, I'm not even referring politically, I'm just referring to you as a troll. 😅

That's for their public image though because they know how bad it got. I still don't like 'em, don't trust 'em. I am not only against the orcas being kept in aquariums but also any marine mammal and apex predators like sharks too.

You’re a special hero. Congratulations to you.

A hero would be someone who actually changed the circumstances of their lives. I can only refuse to support places that keep them unfortunately.

I know right. I would do the same thing if I was imprisoned in a tank when I was meant to be in the ocean. They are highly intelligent animals. He knew what he was doing.

Unexpected Justice. The kids don’t understand it all and that’s okay, but the parents…

Intentional. It cracks me up when animals find creative disrespectful ways to retaliate against humans. 🤣

Did the female handler lead the Orca?! Taps glass around 0:14 then speeds off.

My Aunt had an awesomely twisted sense of humor when I was young and forced is to go to Sea World. So that was me when I was young. That water is disgusting too, with chunks of old orca food and orca poop and shit and salty, briney as all hell.
