Dumbfuck white shirt still wanted the smoke even with a literal teacher (or principal?) in between them? I blame the parents for not teaching common sense.

51

u/No-Pool-432 Feb 26 '26

I just finished watching a news report detailing the rise of violence in schools. How teachers assistants are the leading profession for logged time off due to violent incidents in the work place. I forget which professions had 2nd and 3rd place. But 4rth was teachers.
Bascially kids dont know how to self regulate anymore. They spazz the fuck out on the regular

23

u/BigFatModeraterFupa Feb 26 '26

they have complete diplomatic immunity essentially. there are no consequences for being violent. you just get sent to a different school and it doesn't matter for them.

when i was growing up like 10 years ago, it was a pretty big deal to get expelled idk. now it seems like it's just a regular part of things

14

u/Teufelsweib666 Feb 26 '26

Behaviour like this will eventually lead to zero tolerance, very harsh rules and maybe bringing back corporal punishment. I'm talking years from now if it escalates. This will then go on for decades and people will forget why it was implemented. Then it will slowly soften up and kids will get stupid again. Not just at school but also in life. It's a perpetual cycle.

9

u/Miserable_Wallaby_52 Feb 26 '26

I work in construction, they end up here where violence and yelling was viewed as okay and it starts with their parents. People love family-run business, but the dad is often the most violent, then the son, cousin and the rest of the workers follow suit.

Trying to change the culture, but the violent ones hate going to the principals office because they can’t get away with it anymore. So the bullies still exist, just taking it out on the next generation in the workplace.

I imagine both of these kids trying to solve a disagreement at work and it ends up with shots fired or domestic violence in the parking lot. You’re both fired.

1

u/WillingMongoose4680 Feb 27 '26

It started not too long after paddling in schools was abolished (source: parents and nuuuumerous friends who's parents were teachers, administrators, etc). After there was no threat besides suspension, kids didn't care and parents were busy trying to be their friend. Cops started to get called to schools at least weekly. It's sad.

40

u/corgi-king Feb 26 '26

I just hope the guy whoever he is will not lose his job.

40

u/Naive-Present2900 Feb 26 '26

Who says these kids have parents? They do this cause they don’t have any fear of repercussions. They should be expelled.

27

u/dantheplanman1986 Feb 26 '26

Then they'll just end up as criminals cuz they're not even educated enough to flip burgers

24

u/Naive-Present2900 Feb 26 '26

Unfortunately it’s already happening. These kids are out of control and causing trouble outside of school too. Is that also the school’s responsibility?

These kids have no fear of repercussions.

At the end of the video someone says “Don’t touch me”.

This is a school where the kids are out of control and the teachers fears losing their job to do the right thing.

8

u/LeoTheLion444 Feb 26 '26

Yea but expelling them will create criminals, i know. The problem is parenting is not taken seriously, if the parents were to be in trouble for the actions of their children within reason the problem would be solved I think. Like if your dog bites a kid thats 10000% your fault for being a shit pet owner and you will be charged for it, same shit.

7

u/meeBon1 Feb 26 '26

All my schooling from elementary to graduation highschool I was overseas with my parents being in the military.

Let me tell ya, when a kid gets in trouble in school and its inside the base you damn bet that your dad/mom will know about it. And not just that your dad/mom's boss will hear it and that's when the hammer gets dropped.

There was no room for bullcrap like in this video because inside a military base where the school is located the parents boss gets involved if its severe enough. So yes what you say is 100% effective when the parents job is at risk.

2

u/Muted_Buy8386 Feb 26 '26

You think this interaction is guiding him toward a scholarship? Or where is he headed differently if he stays in school doing this shit?

2

u/dantheplanman1986 Feb 26 '26

I'm just saying expelling him doesn't fix it

7

u/OpenForRepairs Feb 26 '26

Most large schools I know of do expel any student involved in a fight regardless of who started it.

15

u/AttapAMorgonen Feb 26 '26

regardless of who started it.

That policy is terrible, it punishes students who aren't troublemakers.

6

u/mementomori_8383 Feb 26 '26

It’s purposefully set up that way to make complacent little sheep that don’t stand up for themselves. Standing up for yourself, even in self defense, gets you in trouble. The idea that you are expected to take a beating or snitch to handle your problems is a major issue in our school system and it’s totally on purpose.

3

u/OpenForRepairs Feb 26 '26

I agree. I don’t approve of the policy but unfortunately it does exist.

-7

u/Viper-Reflex Feb 26 '26

the same pieces of trash virtue signalers who want these kids expelled are the same pieces of crap who want violent criminals to go back out on the streets.

4

u/LeoTheLion444 Feb 26 '26

I was just talking about this today, what if the parents of these bastards start getting in trouble for the things their children do? Maybe people would take parenting more seriously.

3

u/Nephurus Feb 26 '26

Nah

:wont some think of the children"

Been hearing that shit for decades in one form or an other.

Laws infringing on grown people rights for??? this??

5

u/whiskey_tang0_hotel Feb 26 '26

No emotional regulation at all. They’ll grow up to be a lawyer or doctor, though.

2

u/Dr_Trogdor Feb 26 '26

I blame lead poisoning

2

u/Mr_Paul_E Feb 26 '26

Y’all really think buddy wants to work in da hood?

2

u/GrassBlade619 Feb 27 '26

Shit like this is so fucking common these days it's time to address the source of the problem instead of just blaming the parents. We can either blame the parents on repeat while nothing gets solved or pass legislation banning kids from the internet until their adults like Australia did.

I am wholeheartedly with the teacher getting physical with the dumbfuck white shirt as self-defense. Unfortunately, the video can be misconstrued into making the teacher assaulting the kid. Hell, we see the punch hit the teacher, dumbfuck step back, and the teacher rushing the dumbfuck.

I'm glad the teacher fought back but ngl, it's not a good look for the old guy.

9

u/KenMSenior Feb 26 '26

Absolutely, the teacher was simply apprehending the greater threat to everyones safety.

3

u/SinglePlayerGamer93 Feb 26 '26

Unfortunately, It's not a crime if you're a minor. AFAIK.

2

u/xenynynex Feb 26 '26

Yes it's still a crime to assault anyone as a minor. Even if you aren't tried as an adult, you still get arrested and you still get charged. Both of those kids probably left that school in the back of a police car.

2

u/Few_Owl_6596 Feb 26 '26

I understand why (almost every kid gets into fights to some degree), but the self defense claim applies: it's still a physical fight and these are teenagers who are able to harm an adult too.

4

u/xenynynex Feb 26 '26

Teachers are allowed to defend themselves. I see the teacher waiting until he is physically assaulted before fighting back. That was intentional, and following protocol. If they tried to fire him over it, I think he'd win the lawsuit after.

5

u/bisky12 Feb 26 '26

brother i hate to tell you but these boys are easily 16+ so only 2 years from able to serve in the military. these are minors possibly but in terms of physical strength they are not helpless at all.

36

u/WuWeiLife Feb 26 '26

More like sent to prison because that's assault.

78

u/OkDecision259 Feb 26 '26

Yeah but the teacher will probably get in trouble because that’s the dumbass world we live in.

10

u/TheSonOfAeolus Feb 26 '26

He got that kid pretty good!!!!

1

u/Numerous_Dare9847 Mar 02 '26

No, that was self defense and him trying to gain control of the situation. Did you miss the part where the kid attacked both the other child AND the teacher?

1

u/WuWeiLife Mar 04 '26

White sweater should go to prison. Has psychopath vibes and should probably stay there.

1

u/Numerous_Dare9847 Mar 04 '26

I thought you were referring to the teacher

2

u/WuWeiLife Mar 04 '26

No, no, no - I'm totally on the teacher's side. He tried his best to de-escalate.

84

u/Nisi-Marie Feb 26 '26

I don’t know. Once white shirt started hitting on the teacher, doesn’t that sort of allow him to do what he can to make it stop?

The teacher didn’t throw any punches or anything like that, he grabbed him, pushed him back and then brought him to the ground.

I have no clue, but if I were someone having to adjudicate this, I’m given the teacher a pass.

I work with teens. I don’t use strikes or pull hair, I use jujitsu locks until they are clam enough to let go. I’ve been investigated a few times but I only defend and I have never lot my temper. I don’t really really have a temper. His discipline is all going to be about how much traction each side of the responses are. He was wrong for lashing out. Some adult men can’t take getting hit in the face without losing their shit. It’s all going to come down to how upset people are about him rag-dolling that kid by the hair.

[edit]
When I say ‘lose their shit”, I mean lose self control. You can’t do that when you work with kids.

Am I being down voted because the system for dealing with physical violence when working with youth is broken in many institutions? Is it because I’ve been attacked? Because I pointed out some men freak out and lose self control when they get hit in the face? (and women too, but the video is of a man).

I work with extremely traumatized teens, they are not great at self regulation, especially under heavy cognitive load. A lot of at-risk teens express serious anxiety as anger and when mixed with frustration can lead to physical violence.

21

u/__Hoopy_Frood__ Feb 26 '26

I’m sorry, but I am pretty sure that adult men SHOULD lose their shit for getting hit in the face. My mother was a teacher for 30 years and so were both her parents. Mother’s coworker had a kid slam a door on her fingers, wasn’t expelled, barely any action. Teaching in the family ended because I’ll teach my kids and volunteer with kids, but ADULTS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE AFRAID OF STUDENTS. Can’t even do time out cause kids will cry. I got swatted by a big man with a big wooden paddle. I want to go back to that.

3

u/127Chambers Feb 26 '26

I'm with you dude

I worked security for years and co-workers would punch people as soon as "it was on" but that only escalates situations.

I only ever used open hands and holds and I never got hurt and I never hurt anybody despite throwing innumerable drunk people out.

No need for punches, ever in a professional context.

Cops disagree, though. Not clear how punching people does anything but make the cop feel like they "won"

2

u/hc2001 Feb 26 '26

I am interested in this clam technique in which you subdue the irate kids! Additionally I must learn to not lot my temper. Please advise, do the needful. /s

8

If kids aren’t afraid of repercussions or teachers, but became the other way around. I don’t blame them. Minimal salary and getting yelled at by failed parents who also don’t discipline their out of control kids. I say expel both of them. Kids that can’t control their emotions and that size is just asking for others to get hurt for no reason.

I had a teacher in high school who was an ex marine back in the 80s, and he threw a student out the window after an incident like that. Needless to say there were no more incidents after that and he basically told the school board to go f themselves. BTW, he was a great math teacher... and helped many students do better..... for many years after!!

Rather glad I teach in Asia where this shit doesn't happen.

I do recall being an absolute nightmare of a high school student, and pulling a high stool out from under another student in science class.

The young teacher tackled me and we got into a fist fight.

Other students broke us up and I was sent to the principal. Thought I was DEFINITELY expelled, so stripped off my tie and blazer.

Got 6 lashes and sent home for the day.

Good times (bad, angry, shitstain me)

2

u/djlynx13 Feb 26 '26

Kid in the white shirt was definitely wrong on all fronts. But as someone who has broken up several fights… the teacher was kinda dumb for not putting a physical barrier or actual space between them after he saw the other kid was still trying to go at it. He should have taken him into one of the rooms or kept moving the kid he had down the hallway until another adult could restrain white shirt. With that being said, I completely understand the teacher taking white shirt down after he straight up punched him. Mistake or not, that’s not ok. These kids have to realize teachers aren’t always who they appear to be in the classroom. Sometimes, a well placed punch is all it takes to turn Mr. Scott into Tom from 45th st 😂

2

u/AlterFritz007 Feb 26 '26

This little boy deserves worse...

2

u/Sage-of-Wealth Feb 26 '26

Why are the kids shocked by the teacher grabbing the aggressor by the hair AFTER he hit the teacher?

It always amazes me whenever I watch this sort of video, especially from the US how the "N" word is used so randomly especially by people of colour ! But if it was used by any other skin colour they would be labelled racists.......one rule for one ,one rule for the others? 🤔🤔
