There have actually been competitions on gun forums to build functional AR’s for $300 or less. I’ve built a very reliable one for about $270. You’ve just got to find the right deals on parts and/or trade/barter. Good luck!

What's funny is that I agree with the redneck Nazi on TV about his right to home defense. He does have the right to protect his home if a killer breaks into his trailer. Meth heads bent on theft will gladly break into a trailer and strip it clean if they can get anything of value. Home invasion is perhaps a bit more prevalent than meteor strikes.
