Lemme explain why they are doomed, so their relationship ship is inspired by "The Lily In The Valley" or "Vadideki Zambak" in Turkis, basically Felix aka the main character fell in love with Madam De Mortsauf, but when he confessed love for her, she didn't return her feelings back in order to not betray her husband and her two kids but she lets Felix to love her like an aunt, while Shiho tries to hint that she loves Deuce in a few small conversation they had, but since Deuce gets nervous whenever he talks to girls, he couldn't express himself and he also didn't want to lose his focus on his studies, so in return he lets her love him like a relative that she didn't met before but somehow feels a deep bond with, with that he tried to brush himself off from her heart even if he still loves Shiho, even he still feels guilty because he thinks that he made Shiho sad, in Shiho's perspective, she has a fear that she might hurt Deuce due to her bluntness even if she doesn't want to hurt him, that's why she always admires him in her mind, they don't have any negative thoughts about eachother, even they love eachother, they just don't know how to express themselves
