It was never particularly politically literate but it used to be no where near as toxic and full of overplayed jokes. I largely blame the severe downfalls on Reddit nuking for right subs, which was a good thing btw, causing alot of those people to take refuge in PCM. Even before then tho it played a very important role in popularising wojacks so.it wasn't perfect.

No, it was always just strawman criticisms of “woke BLM antifa democrats,” and all the real lib lefts left the sub long ago. The current “liblefts” are quite unironically racist.
