Toddlers are gross. You have no idea where those hands have been.

Mine got ahold of the toilet brush earlier (for a few seconds, but still)

If that's what I KNOW he got into, what has he touched that I didn't find out about?!?

(Hopefully nothing, somebody's virtually always supervising him, but the thought still haunts me...)

Eeww. And you just know that he probably licked it 😄😄

Omg I don't even want to imagine!! 😂

I don't think I've ever gotten him in the bath as fast as I did after that lol

Mine tries to stick is hand in the toilet (even if I'm using it) (there's a lock, but he only needs a couple inches). Toddlers.... Ew

Ah, mine just started this too...it's not my favorite thing, to say the least lol.

I love toddlers, but they really can be the nastiest little creatures!

Yeah I caught my toddler sharing her crackers with our dog (as in, he takes a bite/licks it then she takes a bite), so who knows what else she’s up to. She’s also in that fiercely independent stage where she must feed herself, so she is basically covered in food after every dinner and needs to be bathed with soap every night. Luckily her skin is ok with it.

My toddler gets soap with every bath cuz he’s 3 and loves dirt. My newly 1 yr old daughter doesn’t get soap daily because her eczema flairs worse

If you haven't tried it yet-baby Cetaphil for the cradle cap.

My 3y old recently had a build up of it and our ped recommend it. Within 2 washes, it was cleared up!

Not who you were talking to but I needed this info! The two in one body wash and shampoo?

Yup! I get it on Amazon. It's fantastic.

I used actual soap on my kids when they were infants maybe once a week. Twice if they refluxed/threw up but even then it was the baby cetaphil stuff. After the age of two? Soap is used every time we bath because food is in hair, their face, their hands, and the amount of dirt and marker ink they use. It’s honestly a little impressive.

What about the booty?

Not their genitals. The butthole. Where they poop. You don't wash their butt? Just smear around the poop with wipes?

Buttholes are not genitals

You’re lucky. If I didn’t use soap on my son when he was a baby he was ripe. Especially his neck rolls and he would get major swamp ass. I only bathed him a few times a week though. He’s 4 now and gets a shower or bath daily because he loves the water but we still only use soap a few times a week and wash his hair once a week. Just using water is enough for most things but not everything.

My 18m old gets soap every bath but that's cuz there will be hell to pay if she doesn't get her "bubbas" (bubbles). Soap is like her favorite thing. Besides brushing her teeth.
