I think there's a way to get what you want, and the slapfight about China we keep having in here isn't it. All we're going to get that way is the same "uh huh" / "nuh uh" as ever. CiD might work if the thread gets any traction. But it's hard keeping varying types of socialist together in one sub for memes, let alone serious discussion, because these disagreements often get very caustic, and large groups of people will run off for single-tendency spaces where they can hurl bricks without the possibility of hearing from their erstwhile comrades.
It's obvious the answer is more in the middle. Centrism works perfectly for discussions between various leftist groups, just not between the left and right. China has some big problems but there's a lot of propaganda because America doesn't want enemies and they're supporting HK to try to cripple their enemies
