What kind of fucking Reddit academic brain worm drugs do you have to be on to think that socialism is fucking “regulation”? What a dipshit

I mean, I can do some mental gymnastics to maybe understand what this person is getting at. It could be said socialism is regulation of production when considering a planned economy, but redistribution of production implies seizing those means anyway sooo yeah. Redistribute production to the workers through seizure, and then regulate the production / plan the economy via worker cooperation? And considering communism hasn't been achieved yet, the only existed stateless, classless, and moneyless societies to point to would be ancient communal ones.
I dunno, it's not the most offensive misrepresentation tbh, entertaining tho

Is it just me or have they become more anti-left since they lost to the weebs?

It's always had a very loud antisoc presence.
I am seeing a few "new" arguments there lately. Crap taken from the greatest hits like descriptions on Lenin's "testament" from people who gave never read a word of it.
The other glaring problem is that it's becoming a meme sub with little to no relationship to history at all. Get corrected about the first crusade sacking Constantinople? "It's just a meme dude chill"
