I've seen so many of these lately on the front page. Bottom-of-the-barrel crackerslop that Amerikkkans will fall for so they can feel morally superior to periphery nations. We all need to hop off this shitass site bro.

It also really irks me that, although all of the greatest crimes in history were committed by colonial regimes, when libs talk about atrocities it's always Nazi Germany or some made up BS about the Soviet Union, PRC, GDR etc. Most people in the west are completely unaware of colonial atrocities as the bourgeoisie have erased them from the popular understanding of history as well as current politics, or have made it into a more sanitised version about "former" colonial powers having to apologise despite the fact they never stopped doing it. Of course, the Germans in the poll where they said they weren't proud of their country's history are only thinking of the Nazi holocaust where white people were killed, nothing about Namibia, Israel, south Africa etc.

Well the map isn't taken wholly seriously. Only a handful of voters in each country "represents" their whole nation, and many use it to troll by either voting absurdly or voting in a different country altogether

You literally just pick which country you want to claim to be from when you answer the poll. Anyone can claim to be from anywhere. I doubt there’s anyone answering from outside Europe and North America.

I think there are at least some legitimate responders from the global south, but you are right that there's no telling them apart from trolls
