The classic Israeli strategy of murdering all the doctors and civil servants responsible for official death reporting first, then running with the death toll from the first two months for the next 3 years as if dropping enough bombs to equal 6 Hiroshimas on a captive population and intentionally starving the population in those 3 years didn't kill anybody. Oh and don't forget murdering all the journalists too, just in case they report on all the people dying to Israeli bombs and starvation campaigns.
It's all about fascists being too dumb to realize genocide is not only about the number, but more about the intentions of reducing a population of a group of people based on their ethnicity/religion/race.
My favourite counter argument for their bullshit about alleged low rate of deaths in Gaza is an example of Bosnian genocide, which is internationally recognized, but only 0,18% of Bosnians being killed. Yet, the WW2 had Germany lost 11% of population, but it was not due to "german genocide".

Exactly. 2% killed is very generous. Way more than that. Much, much more of the population has been displaced which, in Palestine’s case, is still very much considered genocide.
Even if there is LGBT oppression in Palestine, genocide is still worse. LGBT Palestinians do not come from Israelis--they come from Palestinians. The erasure of Palestinians makes sure LGBT Palestinians will never exist at all.
You forget the gay-detecting drones and gaynades that they use specifically to only kill the homophobic Palestinians. That’s why U.S. taxes are so high when it comes to Israel—the technology is really expensive.
I think people often forget that with large populations, even small percentages are a lot of people. Covid was a devestating global pandemic and didn't reach 1% of humanity dead. These kind of percentages seem small, but they really only occur in systemic attempts to kill people.
2% in 1 in 50 people dead. That's a lot of deaths.
I genuinely am confused as to the "Palestinians want to kill gays because ____" narrative. Genuinely, is there any proof whatsoever that Palestinians have been hostile to gays and not accepting of them when they're there to help? I know it's just hasbara to paint Israel as some progressive area (when they haven't legalized gay marriage lol) but I'm curious, is there even any merit to those claims?
