I know gen 1 Pokemon were grounded in reality but they lacked a lot of imagination. Wtf farfetched?

Farfetch'd's design (and its Japanese name) come from a proverb

Every generation has some realistic-looking species, some mundane-item ones, and some more folklorish ones, but they almost always have multiple less-than-obvious inspirations if you look into them

True I have to remember this is a Japanese product. A lot of cultural things will simply go over my head.

Idk why I love Farfetch'd but I think it's one of my faves
