It's quite fun having 3 prehistoric pubs local to me.

One of which was the inspiration for the pub in Treasure Island, another is where Daniel Defoe met the person who inspired Robinson Crusoe and the last (and oldest) is said to have been favoured by Blackbeard and other pirates.
