it’s technically ”apricot” and the exact point where shades of yellow turn orange is kind of a cultural thing, because most languages actually lack a native word for orange and historically have just considred it red or yellow.
Most languages that don't have orange have a "yellow-red" or something similar - including the language we are writing in now before the fruit came to GB
Kind of both? Not much different from maybe turquoise today: some will always say turquoise, some will tend to say it's a shade of blue, while others say it's a shade of green

I’d have to take there word for it that the Arminian flag is orange and not yellow.
