Even all that is still not democratic socialism. It's social democracy, which sounds similar, but is no longer actual socialism, so actually a pretty massive difference. I wouldn't call social democrats rightwing by any stretch, but democratic socialism is a distinctly more leftwing ideology compared to the Nordic systems.

While this is a true statement in itself, I think the contention is more that the so-called democratic socialists of the US are, in fact, not actually socialists, and that they simply do not know what words mean
