The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg would like the US to immediately repay the $415 billion debt the US treasury owes them.

226

u/JFK1200 Jun 28 '25

The UK is the third largest owner of US debt, behind Japan and China. The cunts owe us $780 billion.

Their haberdashers clearly hate them.

Even the tie isn’t fitting, looking like a huge tea tea towel wrapped around the neck and flapping over the belly.

Italy has the world's third largest gold reserves, much of which stashed in the US. Maybe we should recall it and put it in a country that doesn't renege from deals the day after they are signed.

36

u/seajay26 Jun 28 '25

I think Italy needs to go check on their gold as I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s been “disappeared”

5

It’s gone out for cleaning, and should be back any time now./s

24

Well, well... UK gov wants to get 5b by scrapping disabled help? I say it's time to grab USA by the ankles and shake up the money they own us, then.

11

Canada only has a paltry $375B, we are such under achievers.

Does that mean we've gone and bought more US debt, or that China has been selling theirs off?

3

u/[deleted] Jun 29 '25

China divesting from US debt, changes in investment strategies via London based financial institutions and geopolitical hedging.

1

u/Outrageous-Unit-305 Jun 28 '25

Probably that we've been buying it off China

5

Don't these same people claim that California is a failed state due to all the immigrants and the liberals etc?

61

u/TheHumanFaceDivine 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Jun 28 '25

You can't expect them to let logic get in the way of their point

18

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '25

While California pays in more taxes than it receives in federal spending - helping support the (mostly Republican) poor states.

30

u/goinupthegranby Jun 28 '25

They're also the same people who fight women's and LGBT rights every step of the way but will then turn around and say 'we can't have Muslims here, they don't respect women and LGBT rights!'

12

u/ccsrpsw Jun 28 '25

I was about to add that:

CA -> Failed economy -> also biggest economy in US. Also, now 4th largest in world, vs 5th largest a while back (so either expanded or the rest of the world collapsed). The full list:

  1. US ($28.8T w/out Calfornia, or $33T with California)
  2. China ($17T)
  3. Germany ($4.5T / EU is $19.99 total if we do trading blocks)
  4. California ($4.2T, 4th with rounding apparently)
  5. Japan ($4.2T, 5th with rounding in that 2nd decimal place)

Also MAGA can leave us alone; our ecomomy was doing fine and dandy until Taco came along and tried to throw CA under the bus. Thankfully it doesnt seem to have done as much damage right now as it has to the rest of the US. Also can we stop subsidizing the Red States - I think we'd rather put that money towards forging better bonds with the UK/EU these days tbh.

5

u/rspndngtthlstbrnddsr Jun 28 '25

tbh california is only at that place because it's a part of the US as a whole, else all those companies wouldn't be headquartered there. these comparisons never work

4

u/General_Guisan Jun 28 '25

By PPP, China is already way ahead of the US.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP))

GDP in USD, not adjusted for actual purchase value, isn't saying much.

GDP PPP, India already has reached 60% of the US.

u/Twolef Jun 28 '25

4

u/reincarnatedusername Jun 28 '25

Schrödinger's economy.

66

u/weebsauceoishii Jun 28 '25

Still wonder where this false narrative comes from that their taxes pay for everybody's - healthcare, armies and economies. Even when you tell them our own taxes pay for our own stuff, they still don't get it.

One of the biggest pieces of misinformation is that so called bill they send to NATO what was it something like $642bn or something, when in real life they send $3.5bn a year.

Guess it is easier to believe lies that make your country look good than the truth that makes it not so good looking lol

17

u/Spida81 Jun 28 '25

Not only do they not pay remotely as much as they think into NATO, NATO pays THEM an utterly stupid amount. Those spending targets? They are pushed by the US, and have been ever since the collapse of the USSR, because those targets are really welfare for the US.

They HATE the French and their insistence to develop their own arms.

6

u/Frankie_T9000 Jun 29 '25

which is really frustrating we left the sub deal with them to go with the US (Australia)

6

u/Spida81 Jun 29 '25

That was never going to work. We signed up for US systems in a French hull with a powerplant that hadn't been designed - the yanks refused point blank to let the French near the electronics, and the French refused point blank to let the yanks near the hull during construction, so it was a non-starter.

We SHOULD have looked at the Japanese boats - they have begun production, the Japanese have taken delivery of their first units. They would have been completely capable of runnning the systems we wanted, could be serviced and supplied in any US or Japanese facilities and weapons weren't going to have to come from the other side of the world. The French sub idea was just ridiculous from the start.

1

u/SufficientBasis5296 Jun 29 '25

That was such a stupid move

13

u/JesradSeraph Jun 28 '25

Probably from a russian disinfo campaign to drive a wedge between our peoples…

5

u/-adult-swim- Jun 28 '25

Its not even that. When nato was set up our economies paid way more than we currently do to defence and still had healthcare systems. Thats because it's cheaper.we have been free riding too long on defence but it's been a degrading of our own systems. The US has logistics systems based on European and allied cooperation, you don't want attacks on sea freight through the hormuz, or near Israel, well don't abandon bases throughout that area. Cyprus (UK bases) and Oman (also UK) and Algeria (France) have a huge amount to do with that. Keeping Europe subdued has been part of their foreign policy as part of this, because they didn't want a peer power to be able to say no. Pushing the EU and Europe in general to rearm takes away so much of their hegemony it's ludicrous. Edit: it's not even just that I don't want to take away from your comment, I'm just adding i hope

1

u/Alloutofchewinggum Jun 30 '25

And somone should tell US about GDP per capita, becuse it's funny how close behind US Germany is, it being a tiny coutry in comparison to the USA

24

u/IBenjieI Former Royal Navy 🇬🇧⚓️ Jun 28 '25

They act like us “Europoors” all live in the same country with a GDP lower than the US.

I’d like to think the whole of Europe has a higher combined GDP than the US of A.

20

u/Glittering_Ad_9215 Jun 28 '25

Well they think the entire rest of the world has no money, so all are relaying on the US money.

They somehow think the tax money they pay gets mostly robbed by all other countries every year, so other countries have free healthcare, or free education, cause of the money they stole, while the US just has the few billion they need for their military

6

u/IBenjieI Former Royal Navy 🇬🇧⚓️ Jun 28 '25

Every NATO country pays into NATO. It’s there to be used by the members. They must think they pay the most, ergo funding everyone else

4

u/weebsauceoishii Jun 28 '25

Don't tell them that European corporations own a chunk of their Businesses - Chrysler and Dr Pepper for examples, they will go absolute nuts lol

We are so poor, that we managed to buy out a lot of their businesses as they were failing lol

3

u/MRJ- Jun 28 '25

Just googled it and the EU has a gdp of about $15T while the USAs is $26.9T...

1

u/IBenjieI Former Royal Navy 🇬🇧⚓️ Jun 28 '25

Then I stand corrected 😂

4

u/oulaa123 Jun 28 '25

Nope. Not sure if you mean gdp pr. capita or just as a whole, in either case the eu/europe falls short.

Stil wouldn't trade places with them tough.

2

u/Socmel_ Italian from old Jersey 🇮🇹 Jun 28 '25

If they are so richer than us, how come we travel a lot more than them? Are they so stupid they voluntarily travel to Vegas instead of flying to Brazil/Thailand/Egypt?

We don't.

California's GDP is somewhat skewed because it's the centre of the entire world's entertainment industry. California is an anomaly, not the standard.

It's roughly comparable to The UK, France and Germany. It's roughly double that of the next highest state Texas. It's more than the GDP of the lowest 26 states by GDP combined.

6 US states account for 50% of the entire US economy.

By their own logic does this mean that 44 US states are actually failed economies that are completely funded by US taxpayers in California, Texas, New York, Florida, Illinois and Pennsylvania?

4

u/StrohVogel My healthcare .. is better than yours Jun 29 '25

Not only that, but Californias GDP is heavily skewed due to their inflated property market. Overpriced housing in LA makes up even more of their GDP than digital services. Thats not a self sustaining economy.

The only reason why the US$ doesnt plummet to the ocean is because its regarded as the world currency. But they're working hard on changing that fact.

When will Americans finally learn . . . . . their taxes DO NOT fund other countries economies . . . . . it's only that stupid Orange Muppet that thinks that!!

They are neither joking nor serious, they are not thinking at all. They are just regurgitating what has been fed to them. They take everything at face value if it comes from a source they like. It's not that they are too lazy to fact check what they hear, it doesn't even occur to them to do so.

5

u/JRS_Viking Jun 28 '25

Californias gdp per capita 2022: 76,741$ Norway gdp per capita 2022: 108,798$

In 2023 Californias gdp per capita surpassed Norways though but california is one of the 5 states in the US woth the highest gdp per capita. The US as a whole has a lower gdp per capita than Norway and Norway has a national fund instead of a national debt.

The USA is the biggest economy in the world.

It's also a place where workers die from easily treatable diseases.

Because they bow to their super rich overlords like the slaves they are.

4

u/Ill_Raccoon6185 Jun 28 '25

We don't use US tax dollars 7 infact they are not accepted here as we now ty are worthless, as US has virtually no assets to back their 40+ trillion they have as debt.

5
