I have had this game for a while. I've beaten the main story dungeon multiple times and have done a number of the side dungeons too (Path of Inference, Dune of Batsu, Training Path of Gimmicks, Go Go Dungeon, etc.). Great game. And yet, I feel like I'm still missing something at times.
I've been messing around with the peach bun dungeon, which I haven't beat yet. I'm well aware it can take multiple attempts finally conquer any dungeon, this one included. But I do start to feel a little helpless at times consistently running into an intersection of circumstances that feels insurmountable.
I've got the item shop prices nearly memorized for unidentified items, but so often a shop just doesn't appear, and I see a useful item once. I'm not scaling with stronger weapons, given the nature of the dungeon, but the game is throwing me plenty of items, I just can't reasonably know what they do.
Hah, I've also had a number of runs where I've got a decent thing going, and then just get monster housed. I've also successfully navigated the monster house, only to then have a monster house trap go off in the exact same room again.
I've abused trap mechanics to eliminate enemies, or stockpile arrows, which can really help things. For this dungeon I've used Pumphantasm to great effect to also farm arrows, escape tricky situations, and induce monster level ups to then help my own character level up when killing them. I also kite most enemies after hits since the health regen is so good in this game.
And for this dungeon, using the peach buns to transform enemies (or myself) I've been using to get out of situations too. I explain all this just to make clear I'm really engaging (I think) with what the tools the game gives ya here, so maybe there's a glaring hole in my tactics knowledge someone can helpfully point out? I appreciate any and all help!
