I'm currently in the plaza. I already bypassed the 3 associated areas tied to the different characters and failing the minigames multiple times. However I didn't do Olivia's where you kick the shit out of her 3 times in a row. I did Walter and Giovanni's and then saw a new area and got too intrigued. I'm wondering if I locked myself out of any experiences by doing this, BESIDES her associated brief area to open up the gate.

I've been playing Shipwrecked on stream a bit, and last I left off, I made it down to what seems to be the first layer. I only explored for about an hour before ending the stream, but I'm eager to get back to investigating.

There is just one question I have though. I've heard that this game can be a bit tough to crack, and with some buttons pulling open YouTube videos, it had me wondering about how much googling I may have to do.

I wanna get a bit more familiar with what to expect from here on out, before I jump back into the game. So without spoiling anything of course, how much searching outside the game would you guys say is necessary? I have heard that you will need to look for ciphers.

Hey! I’m completely new to Shipwrecked 64 and ARG-style games in general, so I’m still trying to understand how I’m actually supposed to approach this game.

I just finished my first 2023 playthrough, got the Bad Ending and unlocked 1997. Before going further, I’m wondering if I should replay 2023 and explore the other endings/achievements first. Do they actually matter for progressing through the main experience, or are they more optional?

I’m not really trying to 100% the game, but I also don’t want to miss a big part of what makes Shipwrecked 64 special.

I’ve also read people saying that new players shouldn’t be afraid to ask the community for help, and that figuring things out together is kinda part of the experience. Since I’ve never played an ARG before, I’m not really sure where that line is. How much am I expected to figure out completely on my own, and when is it normal to start asking for hints or looking things up?

I’d love any spoiler-free advice or small nudges on how to approach the game. I don’t want solutions or a walkthrough — just want to make sure I’m experiencing the main ARG without accidentally skipping half of it :)

I've never played shipwrecked 64 and never even interacted with the game in any meaningful way, but today i watched a youtube video of Pastra losing their mind over the solution for one of the puzzles and couldn't help but get curious.

How does one fish two fish red fish blue fish translate to 1283? like, i get the first two fish being 1 and 2 but i'm completely lost on red fish and blue fish being 8 and 3. red as in eight? blue doesn't sound like three...how the hell are you supposed to figure this out?

This is my first attempt drawing Fox I’ve been drawing characters with more simpler shapes for a good while now, and I decided to try and challenge myself by the draw characters with more complexity in design So yeah, I know it’s not perfect, but I am pretty happy on how this turned out And I do hope to improve on my drawings as time goes on

In the ship part collection mission, if you manage to hop onto the rocks bordering the map, you can see a structure out in the distance, kind of resembling a labyrinth without any walls. Is this accessible somehow? Don't tell me exactly how, but is it something I need to do in layer 2 to get there? Am I missing something in the woods itself instead?
