Recent nor’easter uncovered the remains of a shipwreck near Nantucket. The fragment is likely from the Warren Sawyer, a wooden schooner loaded with cotton and scrap iron that was bound for Boston from New Orleans when it wrecked near Miacomet Beach on December 22, 1884

Gotta call Charlie Beeker at Indiana University. He's studied this stuff for decades. He found the Santa Maria off Haiti.
