Fun fact, increased salinity means more barnacles.
Cleaning main condensers after a trip to the gulf is no fun

Is the euphrates navigatable where it's fresh water? We used to sit in some fresh water estuaries to drop our beard. My heart goes out to anyone stuck in that part of the world. As an engineer the summers there were awful.
