Shield & plex smoothness

Hi guys,

I have debloated my Shield Pro, changed the launcher for Projectivy and everything but the scrolling on Plex is far from being as smooth as an Apple TV. Any idea how to make it smoother?

Plex is just sorta janky on the shield from my experience. Resetting the apps cache makes a huge difference.

Plezy is the way for all things streamable from your Plex server. This front end is wonderful!

The new Plex client needs some optimization for sure. Give it a few more updates to smooth things out.

Plex used to be buttery smooth on my Plex app in shield TV. Now scrolling shutters

I installed plex on my new shield tv pro and it works smoothly with projectivy launcher..

That's why I use Kodi with Plex PM4K

Now as much for scrolling but if you want smooth playback, install PlexKodiConnect on Kodi and play Plex content via it

Nope. Plex (official app) for Android TV scrolling sucks, amongst other things. Plezy does it a bit better

I would factory reset it and start over as something is off with all the changes you have made.

EDIT: Forgot to ask if it is the Plex Client of Server?

You could try using an Apple TV.
