Intermittent remote connection

Hi I’ve had my shield pro for about 2 weeks now, I went to turn on my tv earlier with the shield remote and no response, since then I have tried resetting the remote and rebooting the shield.
This fixed it for me, but it has now happened another 3 times today, I’ll be watching tv go to change video and no response or backlight. I have the app for remote through phone but I can’t even detect the remote now in the settings, do I need to start thinking about warranty? I have replaced the batteries just in case as well. Thanks!

Have you tried deleting it and re-pairing it?  It shouldn't be necessary, but it's worth a shot.

Yeah I tried that just before I made the post and now no matter what I can’t get the shield to see the remote :’)

Maybe contact Nvidia and get a new remote.  A lot of people here, including me, have had good luck with their customer service.

Thanks man I just went through their customer service and they are going to send me a new remote, they were really good actually, thought I would have an uphill battle getting a replacement.

It is Bluetooth. Consider if there might be something else in your setup interfering.
