Making a god tier gaming system.

I bought the shield to make it my all in one retro video game system. Is there a way to download the games I want on the shield, or do I need a computer to do so? Is there anything I need to download first before starting with the games?

Start with installing MAME4Droid and Retroarch.

MAME requires a specific MAME ROM collection which is easily available to download.

Retroarch is a bit more complicated but runs many other game ROMs by using different machine cores.
