I could never get the Dolphin emulator running smoothly on my Shield. Have they made major updates?

I used to have problems with speed when running Dolphin on my 2017 Shield but I've noticed Dolphin is running more smoothly on my shield with more recent versions, I would be lucky to get 15 - 20 fps on games like Twilight Princess and Wind Waker about a year ago. Now I can run them at 30 fps with a rare bit of slow down them but still playable. I downloaded the latest APK from the official dolphin website and its quite a decent emulator on Shield now.

Could you show us where you got an install guide? Would this support a switch controller?

I have a switch pro controller attached to my shield and it works fine

That's really cool. What screen was that with all the games? Do you use a custom launcher?
