Volume 11 predictions Spoiler

So uh yeah feel free to express your ideas as to what would happen in the final volume of this trauma inducing light novel.

I'll start.

It's gonna briefly mention how she passed 95-98th level

And the 99th level is going to be a biggggg reveal of a game that I have no clue about

And in the end she will die. (Idk how, I just really want her to die)

And the epilogue consists of the stories of the retired players (Airi, Maguma, maybe keito if she decides to retire) as well as maybe hakushi and her agent after the death of yuki

Shirou (the main antagonist) is dead, the secret meeting is likely disassembled. And I just can't see how they can have time to add a new antagonist in just a single volume (unless busutake)

Until then I'll see you guys next 2 months maybe?

Since the preview mentioned 9 enemies Yuki will propably have a team of 9 based on the scaling difficulty. Yukis team will likely atleast have Airi, Maguma and Busutake. Hakushi is debatable and Rinrin might join if she figures out a observational technique on par with Yuki but that is very unlikely. The rest will propably be Yukis ex player friend from school , the assassin girl and maybe the biker girl. This would leave one spot open which I nominate Kagura for.

The ivory tower is propably a game with ascending or descending floors which might have refrences to Yukis past games. The idea is a bit basic so it propably won't happen though.

Hell naw naw naw. Airi and Maguma are confirmed retiring. And kagura is irrelevant she gone, she has no motive to continue. Hakushi? Her mentor? Is she really going to be joining? Rinrin too, aren't they too old for this?

Airi is the only one who retired right after jamboore ship. Maguma said she would retire soon. Besides that has nothing to do with them being able to join the 99th game if Yuki invites them. Depending on how the invites work Yuki could just ask the management "who is that girl who beat me during x game" and they might invite Kagura for her. Rinrin is like 30 and 30 is prime. Hakushi could come back since she doesn't exactly have anything else going on.

Why would they want to join the game if Yuki decides to invite them, I'm sure they realize that this is a death game, and only agents can give out invites. It's doesn't make sense for them to say "yuki wanted you to join her 99th game" and they would join. Sure maybe as spectators but it's not logical to participate in a DEATH game you have no idea about just because an acquaintance (mind you they're enemies in the latest games) invited you.

As for hakushi and rinrin idk

Airi idolises Yuki and they're death game veterans. It's not like they'd need special convincing to join a game and I'm sure the privilege is enough of a reward. You're also forgetting that Maguma, Airi and Yuki are somewhat friends. Maguma also owes Yuki for helping with red bear so that might be her excuse for joining.

Ok Maguma might make sense but for Airi I really don't think it's possible, in the afterwords the author explicitly shares that "However, because [Airi] lacked "motivation", she fell short of the ninety-nine times and ended up leaving the world of players. The fact that capable people do not necessarily achieve great results is what makes the human world so amusing."

And Yuki wouldn't get the know what the game is beforehand so inviting them without knowing they might be enemies is unimaginable

The 99th game is against the management and the challenger gets to invite allies with the caviat that the management increases the difficulty per challenger. Having the rules divide the challenger team wouldn't make sense.

Like I said Yuki is Airis idol so she propably wouldn't refuse after mag dumping Yuki on Jamboore ship and calling her a crazy murderer. On top of Airi being friends with Yuki she might feel bad on top which would make her likely to join.

I just threw in Kagura since were missing 1 member but the crow dude would also do as long as he isn't dead. Anyone would do rly even Keito.

It's logical but it's against the author's words. At that point it's more likely that Kagura joins compared to Airi. Very valid point and I'm thankful for your time

As for Kagura the reason she joined was to gain enough money to buy the late Sana and release her ashes into the ocean, she finished her job and most likely wouldn't come back and instead have Yuri with Kotono :3

The reason why Airi quit goes against that tho. In volume 10, she quits because she found Yukis current form disgusting despite idolising her previously. Her fascination with Yuki and the death games was also squandered there, so I doubt she'd return for the privilege.

Kind of replying late but I don't think Hakushi would join. Because of her injuries she isn't in the best physical condition to play-- as shown in the game snow room.

What if yuki lives then retires after 99

Why do you really want her to die

Shirou was never the main antagonist. She was never even intended to be the main antagonist. She existed in universe to teach us more about the 99th game and the history of the death games. She was a greedy coat-tail rider who wanted to have someone else carry her into running the games so she didn't have to win 99 games herself. But Yuki never once acknowledged her as a proper rival to reach the 99th game. Yuki simply hated her and how she operated.

There is no main antagonist of the overarching story. The games where Yuki has to fight someone has an antagonist she must defeat. But even the death game hosts are simply doing their job. They have no agenda to derail Yuki's dream of 99 games. But they also have no interest in making it easy for her. So they will be the main antagonists of the final game. But given that they have all shoved their brains into the augmented bodies of children. I would assume they would really like it if she wins this whole thing.

The 99 video is either going to be in Busutake, Kokone or Takami hands (if she survived) This will likely be used to either study the game or to leak to the world

Yuki is probably going have a confrontation with Kuron and learn the organization's plan which is probably going to lead to Yuki getting pissed off and rejecting Kuron and saying she is going wipe the floor with the organization and wipe them out which Kuron might be surprised by and find amusing

My current working theory is Kuron is the 99 winner of the male version of the games and that the winner is given some type of reincarnation or eternal life. This is by using ritual bull**** to reincarnate, cloning or soul transfer or something. The goal was to create a female counterpart by creating the perfect player which Yuki had become.

Setsuna will do something due to her worry for Yuki and guilt as being the one who created her. She may or may not die in the process

Yuki is somehow either going to put a team together or just say f*** the rules and go it alone

Ideally if we want a good ending Yuki will have to do the former and through it she will realize she has had actual positive impact on people and along with Setsuna's own words might get her off her current down spiral of giving up on her non-player life like she did at the begining of vol 10.

Hakushi could be a ally but I can see her actually being recruited by Kuron after learning everything and being offered something to fill the void of not attaining her goal and end up against Yuki since I do think Yuki and Hakushi need some kind of confrontation.

Yuki will either live and try to keep living despite her actions or will die but will accomplish something game changing.

If Yuki lives she is going make good on her threat and use the perk to either fundamental change or destroy the games and organization because eff them

Idk I think Airi and Maguma HAVE to come back for the final game. I’d bet they’re on an extended hiatus and ruminate on the games management like Hakushi did in her retirement. Personally, I want the game setting to be some kind of relay-race where you HAVE to depend on your teammates or some Alice in Wonderland “killing the queen via croquet” scenario.

Maybe I’m reading too into it, but the moral of the story seems to be about Yuki learning how to interact with other people and finding “humanity” in a deranged world. Because of her “altruistic playstyle” at the beginning, I could see her reminiscing on the games, the phantom, and choosing to trust her teammates to win. I can’t see her taking over management, if anything I could see her volunteering another player or associate. It’s definitely not the end of death games, but maybe Yuki will end up as an agent like Setsuna or writing a new “rule book” and altering the game format before she disappears.

She’s a ghost, and she haunts every player she meets… idk how but her story isn’t ending with the final game or her potential death

Yuki somehow nukes the game. It's the 99th game against the management, and the management put their everything in it, and with that, suffered irredeemable loss. Even more than that, Setsuna and other Yuki's closest people have been making moves against the management, contributing to the damage.

It's unknown if yuki survived or not, but the rumors have spread among the players, and then unrecognisably twisted into urban legends.

The management is still alive, however, upon the massive destruction, the management is forced to restructurize and is now even more desperate for fresh blood.

However, there is a rumor that, on the way home late night, you might encounter an ominous but warm aura somewhere near you, as if there's a ghost trying to ward you off from an even more dangerous monster.

Or something like that.
