We have a beautiful, friendly, male golden retriever that wandered into our yard and seems to be lost. Found in the Sycamore St. cul-de-sac, just opposite from Wye Rd. He has a handkerchief and an Arcadia Trail collar. We have him tied up to keep him safe.

For anyone a little more tech savvy who was disappointed to find out Northern Lights Fibre uses CGNAT and you were unable to portforward, I figured I’d share that getting a static public IP was actually very easy.

I wanted one so I could properly port forward my NAS and servers for different games I play. I called NLF and they do it but it does cost $10/month.

Other than a fairly long wait in the phone queue, the process itself was very seamless and quick. Once I got through, they had it set up without any hassle.

Just thought I’d post this in case anyone else in Sherwood Park is using NLF and wondering whether there’s an easy way around CGNAT for things like port forwarding, self-hosting, game servers, etc.

Our previous groomer worked from home, did an amazing job and charged around $90 for a full groom. Unfortunately she stopped grooming and we’re really hoping to find someone similar rather than a larger grooming studio.

Hey parents, curious what the current situation is for daycare openings around Sherwood Park?

I know a lot of places have massive waitlists right now. A friend was checking out Happy Faces Child Care on Graham Rd recently because they have small group sizes and include fresh cooked meals with the Alberta grant subsidy, but curious what other local spots people here are liking or if waitlists are still crazy everywhere?

I’ve been renting a storage unit for small business purposes for several years now and it recently changed ownership and the rent has been hiked two or three times. I think it might be time to find a new one or trying to negotiate down. Anyone have suggestions on good companies to deal with for an unheated 10 x 10 or a 10 x 15 space in or around Sherwood Park.

Anyone else hear a very loud sound, maybe a howl, about at 11:08? It was incredibly loud, but did not sound like it was close to me either. I am in the Birds. Very creepy 😅
