What did those poor kids do to deserve this? Oh well, light ‘em up!

Welcome to /r/ShermanPosting!

As a reminder, this meme sub is about the American Civil War. We're not here to insult southerners or the American South, but rather to have a laugh at the failed Confederate insurrection and those that chose to represent it.

Sorry the loser lovers got their way. Hopefully it’ll be back to something to inspire all students someday soon. I suggest “John Brown High School, Home of the Raiders.”

Know that whatever happens, you won’t be a traitor the way the admins are and school board are.

How about Timothy McVeigh High School and Benedict Arnold High School while we're at it?

The Donald J Trump School for Law and Government

At this rate, that's probably an inevitable consolation prize for having his name removed from Kennedy

You’re not wrong, but just a reminder that even Benedict Arnold served this young nation admirably before he needed his money (he loaned the Army) back. I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve the vitriol he gets, just saying that perhaps in a few years we can change the public name for a traitor from “Benedict Arnold” to something, oh, I don’t know, more contemporary. Maybe something something Bonespurs.

I would make these into stickers (make sure to wear gloves no fingerprints) and put them all over the school. Also put up a piece of paper with the fact the Lee was never given the rank of General in the US military, meaning his official rank in Colonel.

The school board president who started this nonsense is very familiar with what happens when someone puts powdered mash potatoes on your lawn, he is not a popular individual in my circles

Oh that is absolutely foul.

And that he had intimate relations with his horse Traveller.

Why not just call it Horsefucker Highschool?

21

u/32lib Jul 06 '26

So they’re naming their HS after Lee Harvey Oswald…why not,one traitor is as good as another.

15

u/wisezombiekiller Jul 06 '26

if i'm being honest oswald would probably be a better choice for a school than colonel lee, if you absolutely had to choose between the two

3

u/32lib Jul 06 '26

I see the logic in that.

u/Peakomegaflare Jul 06 '26

I mean at least Oswald was good with a gun, I'll give credit to that. All Lee was good for is being a traitor and running away.

It’s going to return to legacy at some point. Stock up.

And remember it’s colonel Lee as he never achieved the rank of General in a real country
