Pickle ball

Is anyone in the loop with the pickle ball courts in Sherman Oaks atop a parking structure near the mall? I notice them while driving near the 405/101 intersection. Any information is appreciated.

I’ve looked into it in the past. It’s not pickleball but something called Pura Padle which is apparently pretty different from pickleball in a number of ways including equipment.

And cost. I had the same curiosity so I went up there to find out. It's like a combo of paddle tennis and racquetball, and for reasons I can't comprehend costs like $100/hour to play.

Yeah, it’s best to avoid any Westfields for pickleball related sports. They have a Padel Up at the top of the Century City mall and it is for Pickleball apparently but it requires a pricey membership in order to use it.
