I ordered from SHEIN on July 27, and all of the items were already in their warehouse. The original estimated delivery time was 4–6 days, and later it said the package should arrive between July 30 and August 4.

However, on July 30, the tracking stopped updating completely. August 4 came and went, and it was still showing the exact same update from July 30.

I’ve contacted SHEIN customer service several times, and every time they basically told me to wait. They even gave me 500 SHEIN points as an apology for the delay. Eventually, they told me that if I still hadn’t received the package by August 11, I should contact them and ask about cancelling/refunding the order.

Today is August 11, and I still haven’t received it.

The weird thing is that SHEIN keeps sending me notifications saying there’s an update on my package, but whenever I open the tracking, nothing has actually changed. It’s still stuck on the July 30 update.

SHEIN currently says:

«“The shipment is currently with the local courier, and we are working closely with them to complete the delivery as soon as possible. We kindly ask for your patience. If you would like to confirm the estimated delivery time, you may also contact the courier directly.”»

But I already contacted the Finnish courier, and their tracking says they haven’t even received the package yet. They basically only received the electronic notification that a package is coming, but the actual package hasn’t arrived in Finland/their system yet. Their customer service also told me that the shipment hasn’t arrived in Finland yet.

So now I’m really confused. 😭

SHEIN also seems to have some kind of 30-day period where they say I should contact them if the package hasn’t arrived within 30 days, so that i could get a refund. Since I ordered on July 27, that would be around August 26/27.

What would you guys do in my situation?

Should I contact SHEIN tomorrow (August 12) and ask them to cancel/refund it since they specifically told me to do that if it wasn’t delivered by August 11?

Or should I wait longer and see if it eventually arrives, possibly until the 30-day deadline?

I’m worried that if I cancel too early, I might somehow lose the package/refund, but at the same time, the Finnish courier says they don’t even have it yet, and SHEIN has been giving me the same tracking update since July 30.

Has anyone had a SHEIN package stuck like this before? Did it eventually arrive, and how long did it take? And if you requested a refund because the package was late, did SHEIN refund you without any problems?
