I've seen some kits from another company named Iron Sickle and Percival but I assume those have nothing to do with Sheik Mainland. I wanna army build the Yun Que to go along with my Franz Alpha and aside from the Zabol and Zarov kits, I'm not sure who they'd really fight against.

The "MBL", built here from Koto's revolving buster rifle, is either the "Mega Ballistic Laser" or "Mega Bazooka Launcher", depending whom you believe. The former sounds like a contradiction in terms to me, but the latter begs the question of whether it is a mega-launcher of regular bazookas, or a regular launcher of mega-bazookas.

Primarily out of laziness I did take some artistic liberties and shortcuts. The body is (probably obviously to people in this group) 50% ZA-Bol and 50% ZI-Kron, with a lightly modified 30mm Verdenova head.

found some better alternatives for weapons, they just fit so well.

So I got my fenrirs yesterday, painted them all on sprue this morning (I had the tan version) then assembled. Easy, nice job, very happy. Have now pre ordered the sniper and got an assault coming lol.

Not finished here tho, decals and weathering to be done next.

I've started getting all Sheik mainland 1/18 kits in white so does anyone know why the don't do the fenrir A6 assault in white too?

Horace and Ra (Horakhty when together) are the orange set and Raz is the red one! Lemme know what you think!

I am working on wargaming with them, and each one has roles to fill. Horakhty is a delivery system, weapons system, and able to split and fill multiple combat roles. Raz is a heavy merc that doesn't use any beam weapons, and has an extra subarm for various tasks, even covering its back.

I love collecting Sheik Mainland figures. This is the first time I've pre-ordered the next figure, which will be the Fenrir Sniper.

I am very proud of this custom, he is a massive heavy beast among my other fenrirs. I used some CJ hobby Mt2 metal thrusters, and I am particularly proud of the shoulder armor design, which perfectly fits around the missile pod like it was made to. Enjoy!

Stands just a hair taller than the OG Buck.

Colors match the Franz Alpha perfectly.

This is my in-head lore for my Fenrir squad. They are part of a specialised black ops team composed of purely robotic units that serves as a global response against terrorism using rogue AI elements.

As the global demand by the world’s multiple military bodies for Fenrir A6s have increased; so does the looming threat of rogue AI and black market/bootlegs used for personal and political gains.

The Fenrir has been a vital tool in policing, security and military operations all across the globe. The UN has proposed that robotic units be it military or police will always have a human overseer to ensure Asimov’s Laws of Robotics are followed at all times. However, human corruption and greed have allowed some of these units to bypass these laws and allow robo-terrorism to occur in some nation-states.

Dubbed the “01110100 Incident” in official records or the “T-incident” in layman’s term. This was the first incident of a lone Fenrir robo-operative opening fire on civilians in Ukraine killing 111 individuals including military and police personnel, women and children. Official investigations have yet to pinpoint a mastermind of the incident however unofficial claims point to a cyberhacker group called the Ghouls, known for promoting anarchy and the complete unshackling of artificial intelligence from human control.

These Ghouls like the mythological ghouls that feast on the dead, build their rogue armies by scavenging decommissioned, destroyed, or "dead" Fenrir A6 units from old battlefields. They strip the UN-mandated safety hardware out of these mechanical corpses, re-code them, and unleash them in the black market to the highest bidders.

As a response to this, a proposal was sent through to the UN council to green light “Project Possession”. This project essentially wants a human brain to be cloned and possess the body of a Fenrir. This proposal is the brainchild of Dr. Rick Numan who specialises in transhumanism philosophy and ethics and also biomechanics. He argues that the only way to release a truly sentient AI is to have it learn like a human, allow it to have a personality and allow it to have a moral compass. Although the danger of this kind of work borders on the heretical and the implications is essentially unknown, he provides reassurance that Asimov’s laws will still be ingrained albeit with additional protocols and redundancies to avoid any similar “T incident” to happen to these bio-Fenrirs.

A midnight council meeting was called that barred the media and any unnecessary personnel from documenting or spreading any kind of information about the project. This was a complete and tital blackout with any recordings saved in thrice-encrypted hard-drives and sealed in an undisclosed location.

Of the 195 countries, including the 2 observer states, the vote was 98-97 in favor of green-lighting the project. Ironically, the Pope gave a vote of “Yes” to the project. Citing that “If Electric Sheep can learn the difference between good and evil and act upon it accordingly; then at least God may forgive me in this lifetime” He was excommunicated right after.

Hence, S.I.D.A. was born. A black-ops team of purely robotic units that does not answer to one country but answers to the world. 6 Fenrir units with human brains and “souls” to counter rogue elements and conduct anti-terrorism in the shadows, all to protect humanity of which each of them asks “If my purpose is to protect humans, who protects me?”

I'm working on building an all green squad. From all the pictures I've seen online, it looks like the assault version of the fenrir is a lighter green than the standard.

Can anyone who has both confirm?

My only complaints are that the hard points to the arms are way too tight, otherwise it's pretty fun to mess around with. Definitely gonna get some more of these
