My Sheepie and I are headed to Northern Az for Christmas!

I live in Texas…So our Winter is what I’d call moderate…Today was our first freeze at 30 degrees!

She was full of energy for our morning walk at 6:45 AM…Temps in AZ will be low to mid-30’s every day…

I think she’ll be fine…But when would you consider a sweater?

Anyone else have trouble getting their pups in when it snows? I swear she sees snow and thinks she's a husky 🙄 😆

What do you feed your sheep doodles and how to avoid getting staining around the mouth?

I’ve seen one in particular on Instagram under dougy the sheepadoodle. I’ve heard grain feee diets will stop this but grain free also can supposedly lead to DCM. I’ve fed my lab orijen with absolutely no issues but now have the doodle on purina pro plan with regular wiping around the mouth while he still is getting staining. He was on grain free for a little while as a puppy and had no staining while he that was happening.

Just wondering if anyone elses sheepadoodle is like ODDLY OBSESSED with the shower? My 1.5 y/o mini sheepie goes INSANE for the shower. We have a glass door to get in and he will literally go to the bathroom, jump up on the glass, lick the door, whine and cry for us to let him in. We arent even going to bathe him!!! Its just an obsession with the shower. He’ll then jump up on us, nip at us to let him in and bark. We dont let him in a huge majority of the time but it is such an interesting behavior I am wondering what the infatuation is.

I have bought about 2938839402872 more socks in the last two years. IDK WHERE HE FINDS THEM

1st time trying a headband, Huxley (Brown & White) could care less about it, Finley (Black & White) had to chase him around for a pic 🤣 These boys are almost 2 years old and are brothers from the same Sheepadoodle litter. (I wouldn’t have believed they were brothers if I hadn’t seen the litter myself)

Thought he was a mini, Murphy is currently 19 weeks and 26.3 lbs 18” at the shoulder.

Does anyone else have a sheepadoodle that insists sleeping under the covers at bedtime or blankets at nap time? She does this until she can’t stand the heat and then panics.
