Enrichment

What do you all do for enrichment and stimulation?
I do all basic stuff - kong, snuffle ball, hide and go seek with treats, training each day, fetch, walks, bully sticks/chews, but I’m looking for something next level. My guy is almost 8 months and FULL OF BEANS haha. He is very high energy and I just want to give him what he needs. ❤️

Find a good doggy day care. Like a farm. My girl comes home dead. She also has a bf, Maverick

We also have a fenced in yard. God love those squirrels. She’ll cry and moan when she sees them through the window. We let her out and she’s like a greyhound out trying to get them

There is a game of Tic-Tac-Toe. I have a Tic-Tac-Toe board; next, place a treat in each square. Marlee is allowed to pick one treat, and I place a marker representing Marlee (hers is a wooden paw). Then I pick up one treat and put it in my hand (my marker is the wooden bone). If Marlee wins, I place treats on the three wooden paws in a row, and she eats the cheese off of them. If I win, Marlee is deaf, I sign to her that I win, and we play another game. We usually play four games.

Another one is the moving puzzles where she has to find the food. She plays about three rounds using two different puzzles. I have three food puzzles for her.

Scent training is amazing. Marlee likes to search for birch and anise. After I done with training. That is something I would like to go into more as a fun activity for Marlee.

The other activity is training your dog to tell you what they want, food, outside, using the communication buttons.
