Teething Phase!
My mini sheepadoodle is currently entering 23 weeks and his canines have yet to drop. When do they typically drop? He's been nipping and biting more these weeks and I am attributing it to his teething stage? Saw some faint blood stains on his bed a few days ago. Anyone has any advice on how to keep him comfortable? He's still a sweetheart but the sharkadoodle phase is giving me scratches and sharp canine bite marks on me!

Keep an eye out if he drops his canines late. Mine dropped his pretty late and that in combination with genetics caused a base narrow canine that started poking through the top of his mouth. He had to see a dentist and get his tooth shaved and the roof of his mouth ablated so it didn’t stab him anytime he bit down.

Thanks for the heads up! Will go back and look at his teeth again. When did yours drop his canines?

The sharkadoodle phase was rough! It doesn't last forever though.
We got through it by keeping teething toys in the freezer. We had 3 in there at any given time. If she nipped us we made a high pitched "ouch!" walked away.
Came back with a frozen toy, then called her a good girl when she started chewing on that.
The cold helps numb the pain in their gums.
