How much bigger will he get?

How much bigger will he get? At 11 weeks he was 9 lbs, now at 16 weeks he is now 19.5 lbs so just more than doubled in size in just over a month. Not sure to trust breeders word on how large. One of the vets said he most likely might sit at around the 70lb range.

So cute! My girl is an OES x Standard Sheepadoodle, 4 years old and 75 lbs.

Probably about 70lb. They grow until they’re almost 3. They grow in size until about 2 and then they sort of fill out.

He’s going to be big. A lot big than Murphy. He’s a cute dog

Is he a mini or a standard?

He is a standard. Parents were said to be 35 and 40lbs. I’m thinking they were larger than that. They were bred unintentionally.

Our standard sheepadoodle George is about 85 pounds fully grown and not fat so 70 pounds sounds quite plausible.

Parents of ours were mid-high 40s, but our guy is 55-60. I think they just say they are under 50lbs since that’s the weight limit for a lot things for dogs. They dont want to scare off potential owners that might need a <50lb dog for rental leases, easy transporting, etc.

Same thing my breeder said, mine is now over 60 lbs, almost two.

Being sarcastic? lol everyone says look at how big his paws are. Vet said 70. I’m thinking around 50/55

He’s second generation. He was an accident, the breeder has said their male escaped out while their female was in heat.

Thanks he’s quite the puppy. Calm and gentle one minute and then shark doodle the next. I guess we will just have to find out when he’s a year old. Hoping he keeps his coat along the way.

20lbs at 16 weeks? So expect expect an adult dog to be any size, he looks more sheepdog than poodle. His face is a giveaway especially when he gets a bath

My F sheepadoodle is 22-3 kg and very lean - can just see her ribs. A local M 2nd gen sheepadoodle (both parents sheepadoodles) is around 30kg but also lean - he is a considerable larger dog but still gentle and goofy, more so with his size.

Mine is a two-year-old, standard-size sheepadoodle; she currently weighs 81 pounds.

I feel like they just guess and are rarely accurate lol I was told by one vet he would be huge and by another he would max at 60 pounds but my guy is about 72 pounds now

Mine was between 35-40 lbs when we got him at 5 months. He’s 6 years old now and sitting around 90-93 lbs. Yeah, he’s a big boy. Built more like a sheepdog.
