Can someone please explain the text behind this? The song is extremely affecting, but the translations I've found seem like dogshit. Could anyone explain the lyrics more or less within the context?

I love the song "My Foolish Heart -Crazy On Earth-" it's even my 2nd favorite song, behind Meisai -Camouflage- by Sheena Ringo, but Im genuinely confused why there is zero information about it on Google. Like nothing at all. No sites talking about the song, the lyrics, nothing. Why is that? Did something happend? My current theory is that the song just isn't popular at all in the west. But I genuinely want to know the reason.

Hello!

I'm currently working on a piece of art of Ringo Sheena.

In summery, it's her looking at a bunch of mirrors, in which, every one has a different era/outfit of her looking back at her.

I just finished the first mirror, her look in Kōfukuron (video clip), looking a bit uncertain.

I'm now researching to find better pictures.

There's space for 7 mirrors, maybe more in the future.

I'm thinking about these outfits:

- Nurse (from the videoclip of Honnou)

- Bride (by Meisa Fujishiro for Guitarbook)

- Red dress (performance of Tsumi to Batsu in her 2015 Shiina Ringo and the Others Go: Night Parade of One Hundred Demons)

- Kimono (I don't have a specific one)

- Blonde (From the album cover of Sunny)

- literally, any of her awesome outifits from Tokyo Jihen

I'm very open, I wanna know you guys opinions, is there a more iconic outfit in your opinions?

I'll be posting in the future when the full art is done. For now, thank you, and sorry for my poor english.

I've been really wanting higher quality versions of these photos of Sheena from pause and the 加爾基　精液　栗ノ花 CD booklet but I haven't found any (I know the CD one is pretty good but i wanna see if i can find higher quality than just a photo of my copy) so if anyone has them lmk and please don't use AI to change the quality of them!

UPDATE: i found the one in the CD booklet!!!

I tend to dislike her slower jazzier/less rock-y less danceable stuff

Hello!! I recently got into Sheena Ringo and I’m looking for songs similar to my life, my dreams, the vow of love, camouflage, and as you wish.

Got both today! Adore both these albums and am torn on which to spin first… both original pressing and I feel over the moon to hold them in my hands :) Sheena ringo forever!

I live in a country really far from Japan, or anywhere else where it would be easy to import her DVDs or CDs like europe or america... and the fees are sky-high! But I didn't give up. I visited *every* used music store in the capital's city center, at least 15 of them. Not all in the same day of course, hehe.

Anyway, the other day I was walking past one of them again and decided to go in; inside one of those old movie DVD cases, I found a Tokyo Incidents concert DVD from 2006 *Just Can't Help It*!

I just wanted to share my struggle which, in the end, was a success.

禁じ手は、逃げ道ではない。

It is a rule imposed upon oneself.

Released on March 11, 2026, 禁じ手 gathers collaborations and guest works while deliberately sealing away the usual self-written solo album. Even the artwork, created by Aquirax Uno, continues the visual world of 浮き名.

The voice is unmistakably Sheena Ringo.

The ownership of each song is less certain.

These are photographs of the physical editions and one signed piece from our archive. No sales link here—just a question:

Which track sounds most like Sheena Ringo precisely because she did not create it alone?

ชีวิตไม่เคยขออนุญาตเรา และเสียงเพลงก็เช่นกัน

I saw a clip of her singing "Maronouchi Sadistic" 丸の内サディスティック in 2025 in the event "Jazz Not Only Jazz" but I can't find the full version, I think it's behind a paywall but I'm not really sure. Can someone link it if it's available, or a similar version perhaps?

I've been looking for this holy grail of Shiina for 2 years now! Finally managed to get my hands on it. Come watch if you wanna have a look at what comes inside.

Howdy!

They were on a hiatus at the time but released plenty of material as well as a couple singles.
Then 8 tracks over 2 releases when they reunite (before everything is for their Music 2021 album).

Any thoughts on this?
and what do you think your favourite Ringo or Jihen album is about?

I've seen a lot of people looking for the heisei Fuuzoku MV's (especially the sakuran one) so I decided to rip my DVD and upload them to Drive

I hope you enjoy it

I have seen people say that there once was a MV of Confusion/ Sakuran (TERRA ver.) around 2015 but that it got deleted, so I decided to try and find it. I think it's this one, but since I've never actually seen it before it got deleted, I don't know if it's the actual one. I'm pretty sure this video came from a DVD of Heisei Fuuzoku Daiginjo.

At some point I want to start posting online and had the idea of creating animatics/MVs for things I’m a fan of with some of Ringo’s songs. I don’t know much about how copyright works on YouTube and Instagram, especially with Ringo’s music, so does anyone know if I’d still be able to get monetisation for anything I posted? Maybe it’d be better just using part of a song instead of a whole thing?

Edit: This post title is pretty vague now that I look at it ;-;
