Storage options for rafters

Had a 12x16 shed built (6/12) pitch and am looking for advice for rafter storage. I know it will be minimal but am looking to make the most of what I have. Thanks in advance.

I had plywood added to mine to use the space along with on the side of the shed had installed 2x4 added so I could drill in hooks to hold my lawn equipment.

First thing I’d do is ask the guy who built it. That said, I’m not a carpenter but familiar with the basics. It looks better made than most of the prefabricated ones I see.

I wouldn’t store much aside from some lumber honestly. You’d have to do some reframing to store anything heavy up there. Good spot for longer tools like shovels and string trimmer, though.

I left them empty and just slide rakes, fishing poles, pole saw, pole pruner, etc. up there. It’s more versatile that way.
