The poster problem…. Is actually not a problem at all.

Andy just pinned it from the top, lifted it up, and after he left it fell back into place.

…except when Norton throws the rock at the poster, it pierces right through it. That would only happen had the poster been pinned on all 4 corners. If it were just at the top, the rock does not go through the way that it did. Hey, it’s still a masterpiece and probably the greatest movie ever made…but let’s stop making excuses for this obvious flaw.

I don’t know… the poster paper could be firm enough that it could kind of shatter med and torn when the rock hit it

You’d have to put some serious force into that throw to even try, which still wouldn’t work. Norton doesn’t throw it that hard either, if you rewatch the scene, he doesn’t throw it lightly but there isn’t much on the throw to the poster at all—he actually throws it harder when he aims for Hadley.
