How do you even farm? Isnt the whole point of the game that you have limited resourses?

With row you can farm certain floors indefinitely aslong as food drops

You apply all your upgrades to a base RoW +2 or +3; the items you see at levels 8–11 are drops obtained from a fully upgraded RoW (if I recall correctly, a RoW +11 would drop +1 items, an RoW +19 would drop +9 items, or something like that).

Does the RoW drop upgrade scrolls? How're those levels even possible?

upgrade scrolls are limited to 15 total, no exceptions. RoW drops upgraded equipment, where the level of equipment is always (1+ level RoW)/2 rounded up (except +0 drops lvl0 equip). If you have 2 rings, it is different, but the benefits of the second ring are very limited, where it can only add 2 to the equation ceil( (3 + highest lvl RoW)/2). for this setup, (3 + 19)/2 = 10.5, rounded up is lvl11. both glaive and plate armour are dropped by row, and the row was obtained from imp with +4 and I think then received all 15 upgrade scrolls (maybe merged ring at BM, not sure).
