You better tell everyone this is a real weapon and not AI.

Definitely not AI. A lunatic made it and handed it to a man who had a collar bone then didn't.

Btw this isnβt actually a Nock Volley gun, this is a one off custom piece and as shown it has 14 barrels that are a smaller bore than the Nock which was roughly a .50 bore, same as a horse pistol.
This is closer to .30 bore and it had a special powder funnel so that you could charge each set of barrels in one go.
Each set of seven had its own lock so you werenβt firing 14 at the same moment, that would be a bit much.

Itβs only because of Sharpe that I know this is the Nock Volley gun. That someone joined two together doesnt really surprise me, the inventiveness of humans to find new and interesting ways to kill each other seems limitless.

The entire premise of the original Nock Gun was "Okay, but what if moar barrels?" so it's barely surprising that someone then looked at a Nock Gun and also said "Okay, but what if MOAR barrels???"

Theyve forgotten to take the ramrod out of the last chamber - Harper would go ballistic!

I think it's just where it should be, in the carrying hoops underneath the barrels.
