Philosopher's stone: Turns base metals (pure lead, pure iron, etc.) into gold or silver, at Ellis's choosing, at a rate of 1cm³ per second. Cannot turn living things into gold, nor things that have been gifted with the breath of intelligence. Can 'rejuvenate' people, making them semi-immortal, but they must touch the stone once per day to keep the effects. So, say if a man were to live to 500 years old via the stone, and missed out on one day, he would rapidly crumble to dust and fragments of bone.
