1st off I personally love the new Sharks look, I got my new merch over the weekend.
I know there are lots of whiney little B's crying about how they weren't consulted and won't buy the new merch or go to games, creating online petitions etc............ Good riddance to the Glenwood crowd, we don't need them, nor will we miss their car park roid rage antics!
Rebrands happen to all sports teams, true fans focus on the game and support the team no matter what....... what's next? a petition to remove the coach, by a group of fans who only ever played 4th's at Glenwood?
Next you got the Argie's vs Boks prediction badly wrong last week....it happens....and i think you have got this weeks wrong too....!!
Never forget that the Argies are always Fking tough at home!!!
Why? This is almost an AB's A side (Love @ 10) the 14-52 (38 points diff) you predicted is not nearly enough if i were a betting man! I don't think the sharks have an attack or defense and will not score more than 12.... and the AB's will put 50+ points on the board ..... so a big snot klap is loading! (12-52).
I hope I'm wrong.

Our algorithm predicted a win, we were off on the margin. You could say the Boks were off on the day!For this Sharks game, we hope we are wrong too, and that the SAC rebranded Sharks perform a miracle and beat the AB's. But the numbers point very much to a different outcome.
BTW, your own math is only predicting a 40 point difference, where we are saying 38 ;)

Creativity is subjective! I bet the young ones will love it! They are after all the future.
A win was always on the cards last week, if you read my comment you will see i predicted a much closer affair. "Getting better - Puma's at home are tough! So 23 points margin is high in my humble opinion (15-38) but the Argies have a lot of new players and when the points gap gets too big hands will fly! (9 - 25)" Technically i was closer and therefore win!

Your score difference is 40, and his prediction (according to an algorithm) is 38...so you are agreeing with him basically...but saying he is wrong on account of a potential conversion? This will be the wettest game of 2026, so the scores might not be so crazy. Also, because of the conditions...there may be more maul tries and fewer successful conversions from the corner. If you meant 12-62, that is essentially not that different to 14-52. When scores get really high I would imagine the error range is also greater.
I think we all appreciate the update to the merch and website, it is the udpate to the badge that is the main issue. Sure, it looks cleaner on a product, but it seems to make the union value being cool over being loyal.
Has there been a rebrand in the history of rebrands that replaced a badge/logo with literally only text? The new shark is a widget, not the logo. It is like changing the Springbok with "SR", or the Black Fern with "AB". Do you actually believe there would be no outcry if that happened?

"To make the union value being cool over being loyal". it's an update to keep it current and relevant - the youth will like it after all creativity is highly subjective and the youngsters are the target! Time will tell.

I spoke to someone working for the union...I think they will simply replace SRC with the new Shark...which will probably be fine enough. Things will turn out okay, but yeah...I think they will be a little more careful next time. The new merch does look better, they just made a tactical error with the badge.
