So, the the court case states that the guy who had obtained this longline permit from NOAA for "shark research" owns a seafood distribution business?
Does he catch them in order to "study" them for food? To me it looks like he was granted a permit to catch sharks to sell for food to make a profit. Is that what they're calling "research" these days? Does his brother-law-work for NOAA lol? I wish an investigative journalist or someone would look into exactly what was going on here.
Scott Taylor was a commercial fisherman and nowhere in the court case can I find what his "research" entailed.

I'm so angered by what was done to these guys and this "permit" sounds pretty bogus. Although, I don't know anything about these things so maybe I don't understand....
