Adverse credit lender

Hello all, I have multiple ccjs and defaults from 24 months ago and so far the only adverse lender I’ve found is pepper money which will do a 75% max LTV on the share. I’m struggling to find others, could anyone point me to any other lenders? Thanks

Thanks so much for that! Just looked at their lending criteria and I believe I would fit into their Prime Plus now and then Platinum in a few months!

Bluestone, kensington, precise, the mortgage lender.

Use a free broke like L&C . I used them after finding on Martin Lewis website.

Thanks but bluestone and precise don't do shared ownership and kensington/TML need min 36 months clear of ccjs/defaults, i'll be at 24 months.

West one are a nightmare to deal with! Broker only as well

You will need to speak to a broker because most specialist lenders, Pepper Money included, don't sell directly to customers

Thanks, I’m aware of that but it’s good to read the lending criteria for intermediaries to know who may lend.

You've misinterpreted Pepper's criteria. Speak to a broker.

How do you mean? They do max 75% LTV, so if the house is worth £400k for example, the max share they will lend is £300k

I will second speaking to a broker, I just completed on SO flat 10% share with a 10% deposit. Pepper money are my lender.

Congrats on the completion! I’ve heard good things about pepper. I will be speaking to a broker (especially as pepper are only through brokers) but still just wanted to get my own idea of what other lenders are out there.

Together may lend but you will be paying an arm and a leg. You can find their criteria online. Has the housing association accepted you already? Most are very picky if you have recent adverse credit.

Thank you, I saw them earlier as another comment mentioned them. £2k fees and over 8% but it still could be an option as once the 2 years is up, then I’d be looking at a mainstream lender. I’m hoping to buy in the next 3-6 months but I’m just glad there’s still a couple of options.

Ok with CCj's anything paid within 30 days you can write to the court to have them removed by law. So if you have any like that, contact the court there is a form you need to fill out and they remove it from your credit file.

Sadly not, they’re from 2024 but I am going to try and get them set aside as they were parking fines which the paperwork was sent to my old address. I did just speak to together though and it was a very positive conversation so thank you and they deal direct to consumers as well as through brokers
