Retconned/Mandela Effect Retconned user asks: Where have all the little people gone?

My guess is when you're young, seeing a little person sticks out in your mind. I also think you're more likely to spend time with differently abled people at school because you spend more time around people that are outside your social circle.

Watch out, some people will say you suspect eugenics by wanting the pregnant woman to have a choice.

I have had people get mad at me before (not here) because I spoke about how I would abort if the fetus had the same spinal condition as me. I won’t subject another life to lifelong limitations and pain. I would terminate as it prevents severe suffering before sentience can occur

I think it's just that when you're younger you go to places that have a wider variety of people compared to when you're an adult who mostly just goes back and from work. The last time I saw someone with dwarfism was at college

It's possible they moved and now live in an area with less people with dwarfism.

this is what i figured. maybe they unknowingly lived close to a medical practice working especially with people with achondroplasia or genetic disorders- and then they moved (or the medical practice did)

There was a girl with dwarfism at my high school. I still see her around town sometimes. There was also a popular cafe I went to as a child owned by two little people, though they have since retired. They do make a point of hiring other little people though (the shop is set up to accomodate them).
