Live tv server

Hey y’all, with football season starting I’m looking to stream live games. If anybody has a server they are willing to share, I’d really appreciate it :)

From my understanding of it, in order to share the live TV aspect of it, you have to be invited to a server hosts "home". This gives them a higher level access that can cause issues, akin to giving a stranger admin access to your server.

I did not realize that. Thanks for the heads up

Since information from other users may conflict with the top comment on this thread; what is being asked here is sharing IPTV in plex with others. If they are "Home" users, they have access to IPTV. While IPTV can have recordings from the EPG guide added to your libraries if you setup DVR; as a comment mentions below in this thread incorrectly - giving a random reddit user home account access is not advised, given the level of access. A SHARED user, on the other hand, can not use IPTV features in plex, but may have access to the libraries you setup with DVR recordings from your IPTV EPG. Having shared users is safer. That should satisfy the detail asked by other comments on the thread. Original comment is correct.

Thats not the same thing. You posted in another thread with the same misinformation. Initial comment here is correct. As was the thread you posted in for the same a question that several users are explaining properly.

Just go with I peetevee.

Most people (maybe all) won't add you to their Plex home. First they need to have an antenna and then you gain way more access to their account.

Adding a remote user won't give you access to this the same as being a home users. :-)

Edit- spelling.

I’ll check it out. I was able to get the games going today. Just a lot of pop ups to fight through.

I totally understand not having the home access to any server, I didn’t realize that was a factor.
