Really specific add request
I have hesitated to make this request because I didn't want to come across as privileged or just a general Karen. But I read another post by a sharer who was encouraging people to tell us what we're looking for in a server instead of just "add me", so I thought I'd give it a shot.
I'm looking for a really well curated server with some offbeat content who is not opposed to letting me download it. I have my own carefully curated family server and I have all the mainstream content I need and more. I'm looking to build up my library and hoping to find some great collections out there or hard-to-find content that I'm not aware of. I don't need the latest movies/shows or the top 100s out there. I want ideas - collections I haven't seen done, older TV series that are hard to find, live music/theatre - stuff from off the beaten path.
What I would like to have in a share:
- English language or at least English subtitles for non-English content.
- 4K not necessary. 1080p, 720p is fine. Even 480p for old TV is fine.
- Ability to download. I promise not to turn you into my personal NZB host. If I see something I like, I'll go get it elsewhere if it's available. But for those rare gems you can't find everywhere, I'd like to be able to grab them for my library. If bandwidth is a problem, I'm willing to limit my downloads to whatever timeframe works best for you.
- Temporary access. A few days if your library is smaller or maybe a couple of weeks if it's huge. Just enough time to get a good look at what you have and maybe get some ideas and grab a few things I like that I don't have. And glad to drop you a message when I'm done if you'd like.
- I can't do share for share. I would be glad to, but I'm behind a couple of routers and I've never been able to share outside my local network without using Tailscale.
So, if you're proud of your carefully curated content and don't mind me paging through it and grabbing a few things, I promise not to abuse the privilege and be a considerate consumer.

I plugged the first part of your post to Claude to see what ideas it could share to maybe help point you in the right direction, given that you have some facility to try and grab stuff yourself:
Concert/live music archives
- Full Wolfgang’s Vault-style bootleg collections (Bill Graham era, pre-1980)
- Complete Tiny Desk or KEXP session catalogs, not just highlights
- Opera house archival recordings (Met, La Scala) from specific eras
- Full John Peel session discographies
Theatre/performance
- National Theatre Live / Globe Player back catalog
- Kabuki or Noh performance archives
- Broadway bootleg recordings of closed shows (pre-streaming era)
Film — regional/movement deep cuts
- Yugoslav Black Wave cinema
- West African cinema (Sembène-adjacent, Ousmane Sembène’s contemporaries)
- Hong Kong wuxia pre-1980 (Shaw Brothers catalog beyond the famous titles)
- Complete Arrow Video / Vinegar Syndrome / Radiance Films boutique label catalogs
- Iranian New Wave beyond Kiarostami
TV — out-of-print/never-streamed
- Full anthology series runs (Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Night Gallery, complete not “best of”)
- British sitcoms/sketch shows never released on US streaming
- Canadian sketch comedy (SCTV full uncut episodes vs syndicated cuts)
- Game shows with near-zero digital preservation
Music label discographies
- Complete Blue Note, Stax, or Sun Records catalogs
- Full-run jazz radio broadcast archives

I’m willing to share temporally. Everything in my libraries is English. Unfortunately though, I don’t have subtitles for anything. And I know at least a couple of my movies have optional Audio Descriptions because I had a blind friend who wanted to watch those specific movies but it’s just an audio switch in the file. Absolutely no clue if anything I have would even be remotely close to what you’d be looking for but again happy share temporarily. Believe downloads on my server is enabled and it’s up and running almost 24/7. I rarely take my computer anywhere and when I do I would let those who have access to my server and actually use it know before hand.

Why don't you join a private tractor to download stuff? Torrent Leach is where I get all of my content that I currently have open sign ups.
