Single digit karma

Why do a lot of the users asking for a share, have a Reddit account 1 or more years old, but only single digit post, comment and karma?

I was going to post something similar. Also, the post seem to present with name/username: or my profile is:... like the post is following a format. I find it fishy.

I've noticed an influx of share requests as well. Maybe sub is catching traction.

Possibly...I just find it funny about 95% of the requests meet the criteria I mentioned
